“Say No! to Extremism” Month Campaign in Pestretsy municipal district

Chess & checkers tournament and badminton tournament were recently organized by Lyaysan Galimzyanova, social teacher of the social shelter for minors in Pestretsy municipal district. The sports events were held in the frames of “Say No! to Extremism” Month Campaign annually held in social institutions of Tatarstan.

According to specialists in social work, children who participate in physical activities such as sports experience positive health benefits, including decreased risks of high blood pressure, obesity, heart disease, diabetes and some types of cancer.
