“Volunteer to help the elderly” Charitable action in Buinsk

Several charitable actions coincided with the International Day of Older Persons were organized by social workers of the Complex Social Service Centre and activists of local volunteers divisions in Buinsk municipal district. The aim of the actions was to help senior citizens and people with disabilities living along to clean their houses.

According to specialists, those seniors who are low-income or live in poverty are even more likely to live at home rather than in a facility, even if they require more care.
