Tour of local fire station organized in Baltasy municipal district

Clients of the Complex Social Service Centre in Baltasy municipal district last week visited the fire station located in Buinsk. The tour lasted for two hours and included viewing the fire engine and fire fighting equipment, as well as talking to the firefighters about their job.

The visitors learned a lot about daily routine of fire fighters, their mission, as the life saving force, the roles and functions of fire stations, the job scopes and life in a fire station. According to specialists in social work, such tours are extremely popular among children. During such excursions kids are invited to explore a fire truck, try equipment such as spraying special water guns, and learn how firemen slide down the fire pole.
