Excursion to Almetyevsk Employment Centre

23 October 2017, Monday

Almetyevsk Employment Centre was recently visited by 13 pupils of one of the public general schools where they were given a lesson on profession orientation.

According to specialists of the State Employment Service, children as young as five will be given basic careers guidance to boost their chances of getting a job when they grow up. Primary schools will be encouraged to give children access to a network of volunteers such as carpenters, demolition experts, archaeologists and zoologists to give them a grounding in the world of work, it was revealed. The move comes amid concerns that large numbers of children are currently leaving school at the age of 18 without a job, college or university place.
