World Sight Day in Chistopol municipal district

Another cultural event coincided with World Sight Day was recently organized by social workers of the residential care facility for senior citizens and people with disabilities in Chistopol municipal district. The event was held under slogan “I see the world with my heard” and was aimed at drawing attention on blindness and vision impairment.
According to specialists, blindness is used to describe a wide range of visual impairments, though people often assume the blind experience complete darkness. Blind people perceive the world by using other senses, and even master the technique of echolocation for sight.
