“Birds’ canteen” in Yelabuga

In the frames of the project “Extending mercy” and Year of Ecology declared in 2017, residents of the care home of Yelabuga municipal district took part in “Birds’ canteen”Action.
Activists of local volunteers’ division made birdfeeders out of plastic bottles, cardboard, paper, decorated them with paper and textile flowers, filled them with birdseeds and fixed on the trees.
According to Alexander Okunev, specialist in rehabilitation of the residential care facility, next weekend the birdfeeders would be placed in Alexandrovskypark by senior citizens and fosterlings of the social shelter for minors.
