Seniors and Road Safety in Kukmor

Specialists of the Complex Social Service Centre for Kukmor municipal district will take part in All-Russian Contest “From Generation to Generation. Road Safety School” in nomination “Protecting Senior Citizens”.
Specialists of the Centre stress the importance of such events because children and the elderly are among the most vulnerable groups among road users, with elderly people counting for almost half of all pedestrian deaths.
“Road safety for children is a major social concern. Everybody has to remember that safety is not an accident – it’s a choice each of us can make”, say social workers.
