Socials support of families at risk having newborn children

In the frames of the Republican Programme “Babyhood” implemented in social institutions of the Republic of Tatarstan, a social project “Box for Newborn” was launched by one of the Charitable Funds . The aim of the project is to improve the quality of life of newborn children and support families at risk to choose those baby essentials, often called the layette, that a little one needs to have in the first precious weeks of life..

Today, 7 families having newborn children have been supplied with “newborn boxes” by specialists of the Social Assistance Centre for Family and Children in Nizhnekamsk municipal district.

The layette contained 28 items: sleep sacks, lightweight blankets or swaddlers, baby sleepers or sleep sacks, toys, bottle of baby wash or some infused baby soap sponges and 10 dairy products certificates.
