First inclusive theatrical school to open its doors in Kazan

The first inclusive theatrical school for children with disabilities will be opened in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan – Kazan on 8 June 2017.

Inclusion. School was established in 2016 as a professional integrated theatre group, which aspires to establish the first Russian Higher School of Drama for people with all disabilities. Last year Inclusion. School staged notable theatrical performances and organized Drama workshops for people with disabilities. Within performance and educational activities, the participation of at least 30% of non-disabled persons is mandatory, thus presenting an all inclusive and integrated educational method of the Drama Arts.

Inclusion. School - inclusive theatrical school for people with disabilities. Professional disabled and non-disabled artists perform in and run theatre productions and workshops aimed at improving pupils’ emotional well-being, helping them to lead active, healthy and positive lives.
