Genealogical tree build in Mendeleyevsk Complex Social Service Centre

Several master-classes devoted to making family trees were held last week in the Home Care Department of the Complex Social Service Centre in Mendeleyevsk municipal district. The events were coincided with Day of Family, Love and Fidelity annually celebrated in Russia in July.

According to social workers, mapping personal ancestry on a family tree is a great way to help children understand their heritage and gain knowledge about great grandparents and other family members they may never have had the chance to meet. For adults, it can be a chance to memorialize people who have passed away and create a beautiful representation of one's family history.
