“My future profession” training course in social shelter for miners in Pestretsy

Training course “My future profession” for children – fosterlings of the social shelter for minors was held yesterday in Pestretsy municipal district.

During the one-day course, students covered topics such as weighing ingredients accurately and how to read recipes before making a range of simple, seasonal dishes to take home. The training provided in-depth introduction to cooking skills and techniques, including pastry making, cooking meat, baking bread, cake making, cooking vegetables and more.

In the end of the course Oksana Zakalova, social teacher of the shelter, provided participants with information regarding educational institutions of Kazan offering educational programs to become a professional chef.
